Took the train to Chicago this weekend. A nice relaxing trip. Walked around absorbing the sights and the sounds.
This is a picture of Cloud Gate aka The Bean. This is the work of British artist Anish Kapoor. Kapoor's inspiration was liquid mercury. The sculpture is 66-feet long and 33-feet high.An interesting way to see the city skyline. It has become the most popular tourist spot in the city

Chicago is a city that my husband paul would love to visit when we come to the states. He has always had an intrest in gangsters.
Chicago is a great place to visit in the summer. Not so great in the winter. There is a reason why they call it the windy city :)
